Lava Wines. Boutique winery. Great time. Matt took this picture.
Then, he and Joe, the winemaker, jammed on their banjo and guitar.
Bought the uncharacteristic Zinfandel- very light for a Zin. What an experience!
Another smaller production. Bought the Merlot. They have a great
Charbono, as well. Met the owner. Met Melissa who went to Vintage High School, home of the Crushers!
Lovely downtown stroll.
Industry tasting at Jordan. Very fine. Thank you Eric Hemmer.
Jordan Chardonnay.
After Jordan, one must go to the offspring, J Wines, produced by daughter.
Excellent! We joined the wine club and had some amazing wines.
Kunde Estate Winery. Again, compliments of Eric Hemmer.
We sat under these umbrellas and chatted with the wine maker Zach Long.
He makes over 55 wines- wines for Kunde and wines for Trader Joe's and Kirkland (Costco)!
Need I say more? Guess where we are?
And, then dinner and dessert at Celedon, Napa. Totally a fluke.
Melissa put into Google, "find a restaurant near me." Celedon was a result.
Open Table had a 7 PM reservation. Little did we know that we were
dining in one of the best restaurants in the area, and that they are
100% gluten-free friendly. Here's only one part of the meal- but
Joanne's favorite. Apple Galette! Wow, that's all.
